SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. — Santa Barbara County will be holding a virtual parade of costumes on October 31.
Due to the pandemic, the County is looking at other ways to help residents celebrate the spooky season safely and creatively this year.
The County has issued guidance for the holiday event saying that there should not be large gatherings of people outside of a single household.

Instead the County will be holding a countywide virtual Halloween costume parade that will feature photos of pets and children from ages 0 to 17 years old in costume.
The stream will be showing on CSB-TV cable channel 20, Youtube/CSBTV20 or the “CountyofSB” Facebook.
If residents would like to take part in the virtual Halloween costume parade, they can email their photos to [email protected] by October 28.
Make sure to include the first name, age, residing city or town and full name of legal parent or guardian with the words: “I authorize the attached photo(s) to be included in a broadcast on the County of Santa Barbara YouTube channel, website, and FaceBook.”
