Happy June everybody! We are often asked questions about the real estate market. Is it going up or going down? Currently it appears that prices are still going up, even though very slightly. There was a recent article written by John Bergman, President of Bergman Euro-National Vineyards, Estates & Winery Sales. He noted that during the past nine years, the US economy has expanded, which is unusually long, as recessions typically occur every four or five years. The Fed’s zero fund rate during this time has help to create this expansion. However, with the Fed’s increasing their rate, it will be interesting to see how this affects the real estate market.
